HOW IT WORKS

1- TAKE INVENTORY

Add each room on the floor(s) to be remodeled to the list of Existing Rooms. (We need to study the entire layout of your current floor(s) as we design your Master Plan Concepts, even though you might only be focusing on one or two rooms.)

Your online transaction is handled through our secure online payment system. Click here to get started.

2- SEND YOUR WISH LIST AND MEASUREMENTS

Links to access our helpful planning tools will be included with your email receipt, including:

  • Easy Measuring Guide™ - printable PDF with step-by-step instructions for measuring and photographing your home
  • Wish List Organizer™ - online questionnaire to describe what you would like to change, your dreams, and your priorities
  • Measurements & Photos Portal™ - online tool to transmit digital files (or, you can mail documents to us)

Then, we get started. Based on your measurements, we draw your Existing Floor Plan(s) and study your wish list and photos. We design ways to accomplish your goals and improve your space. (We especially love it when a modest change checks off lots of wish list items.)

We develop three Master Plan Concepts for your Remodel by Numbers Master Plan™. Each concept could vary greatly, or there may be minor variations on a theme, depending on the possibilities your home presents and the goals you define. Some clients find they like aspects of two different concepts and decide to combine them into yet another option on their own.

Because many home transformations happen in phases, we also create a Phasing Plan for each Master Plan Concept, which suggests how you might go about completing the work as smaller projects over time.

3- RECEIVE THREE MASTER PLAN CONCEPTS FOR YOUR HOME

Your Remodel by Numbers Master Plan™ will arrive in the mail 2-3 weeks after you complete the Wish List Organizer™ and we receive your measurements and photos.

With your Remodel by Numbers Master Plan™ in hand, you will have a solid starting point to begin working with a general contractor or tradesperson. Your drawings will help you communicate your vision and enable more accurate estimates. You and your contractor will be able to keep an eye on the bigger goal, even as you take on one small project at a time.
